No. 1 Softball Falls to No. 2 Messiah in MAC Commonwealth Championship

ANNVILLE, Pa. – The No. 1 Arcadia softball team battled hard, however falling to No. 2 Messiah in the MAC Commonwealth Championship. The Knights made it to the championship round for the first time since 2011.
 
FOR THE RECORD:
  • Arcadia dips to 26-14 on the year.
  • Messiah advances to 27-16 overall. 
HOW IT HAPPENED:
  • Messiah jumped out to a 3-0 lead after two innings. The Knights tried to rally a few times with runners in scoring position, ultimately coming up short.
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE: INSIDE THE CIRCLE:
  • Sophomore Kylee Schwind pitched six innings, with two strikeouts, allowing just one earned run.
UP NEXT:
  • The Knights hope to hear their names called tonight on the NCAA Division III Softball Championship selection show.
