Ryan Kelley has been selected to the Academic All-MAC Team, as announced by the conference office on Tuesday. This marks the first career selection for Kelley.
With a 3.6 semester grade-point average while majoring in criminal justice, Kelley received Honorable Mention to the All-MAC Commonwealth Team averaging 12.6 points per night. He provided consistent scoring production all season posting double-figures in 20 of 26 games. On the defensive end, Kelley registered a team-best 52 steals, including a season-high six at Immaculata to wrap up the fall semester. The Mt. Arlington, N.J. powered the Knights to a 108-97 win over Misericordia with a career-best 33 points early in the season, earning him conference and ECAC Player of the Week recognition.
The Academic All-MAC Team is voted on by the league's sports information directors taking into consideration both academic and athletic success. To be eligible for the Academic All-MAC Team, a student-athlete must maintain a 3.20 grade-point average in their semester of championship competition.
